Ferrari Dino 246s – Blue Chiarro Dino Photos

July 28, 2015

We had a brief moment of time before the Blue Chiarro Dino was shipped off to its owner in order to take a few photos. It turned out great!

It’s magic, it’s beautiful, it’s everything 👍😄. I’m one of your followers Steve and I have a question for you. I’m going to restore spare wheel for my Ferrari 308 GTB. I read your guidance to a perfect result with interest but what color code do you use?

    • Hi Kjell,

Thank you for the nice words. Throughout the years Ferrari had many different shades of silver for their wheels. 90% of the time we are always matching the color off one of the other wheels on the car but if I am painting a complete set I select a fine metallic bright aluminum. These three choices will get you pretty close: 1.) Matrix System Fine Aluminum MT-31; 2.) Valspar LVB 100 Series S105 Fine Bright Toner (I use this color on 308s); Valspar LVB-100 S57 Fine Toners (it’s also a fine toner but a little darker).

Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.

      Kind Regards,
      Steve
